Minor Troubleshooting

Symptom Possible Cause Recovery
LED does not come ON
during routine.
• Needle Sensor
malfunction.
• No power to Needle
Sensor.
Call a service technician.
LED is constantly ON.
Something blocking the
sensor.
Clean sensor slots with a
soft cloth or by blowing air
through them.
Needle jams too far into the
needle sensor slot.
Needle height change
beyond capability.
Run Needle Sensor Setup
routine (Calculate Master
Offset or Valve Offset).
Needle-to-Height Sensor
offset is inaccurate.
Fluid build-up on probe tip
caused inaccurate Height
Sensor calibration.
Clean the probe tip with a
soft cloth and recalibrate the
Height Sensor.
Needle crashes onto Load
Cell
• Load Cell
malfunctioning.
• Height Sensor
improperly adjusted
Using FmNT Tools, verify
Load Cell function.
