10-10 Height Sensor
Probe Removal and Replacement
Use the following procedure to remove and replace the Height Sensor probe.
CAUTION! If your system is equipped with a DP-3000, you may need to upgrade the
Height Sensor probe. A special probe is required for the DP-3000
dispensing valve. If you need to change that probe, contact Technical
Support and ask for the DP-3000 probe replacement kit.
Tools and Materials Needed
• 1/16-inch hex key
To remove and replace the Height Sensor probe:
1. Remove the Height Sensor.
2. Using the 1/16-inch hex key, loosen the Probe Set Screw (see Figure 10-1).
Be careful not to loosen the screw too much or it may fall out. Loosen it just enough
until the probe slides easily out of the sleeve.
3. Remove the old probe from the sleeve.
4. Slide the new probe up into the sleeve.
5. Adjust the probe to the approximate desired height.
6. Use the 1/16-inch hex key to tighten the Probe Setscrew.
7. Re-install the Height Sensor.
8. Following the procedures earlier in this section, adjust the probe height as needed.
9. Run the Height Sensor Setup procedure (see “Setup” on page 10-5).
