5 Maintenance

1. Clean purge boot and
purge lid
Daily
a. Remove the purge station lid (Figure 5-1).
b. Clean the boot and lid with a small bottle
brush and the solvent recommended by the
dispensing fluid manufacturer (see MSDS).
2. Replace cup Daily See Figure 5-1.
3. Check Conveyor Rails Daily
1. Using an air gun or air-blowing hose
attachment, blow any dust or debris away
from the Conveyor rails (Figure 5-2).
2. Use the Conveyor motion controls to move
the rear Conveyor rail back and forth. If the
Conveyor does not respond, notify a
service technician.
4. Check Conveyor Belts Daily
Visually inspect Conveyor belts (Figure 5-2) for
cracks or splits. Notify a service technician if
belts are damaged. Do not use the system until
fixed.
5. Clean Control Panel Weekly
a. Turn OFF the Main Power Switch at the
rear of the system.
b. Clean with a soft cloth and isopropyl
alcohol.
6. Clean Doors and Side
Panels
Weekly Clean with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol.
7. Clean Miscellaneous
Surfaces
Weekly
• For damp spills, wipe with a dry, soft rag.
• For dried spills, clean with fluid
manufacturer recommended solvent.
8. Empty Water Trap Weekly See Figure 5-3.
9. Replace Purge Boot Biweekly See Figure 5-1.
10. Clean Part Sensors Monthly
Clean using air and/or a soft cloth.
