Programming Start Up in FMDOS
This is a minimal procedure to begin a programming session. A more detailed procedure is
available in the Fluidmove Reference Manual.
1.
Press the Main Power Switch on the back of the Century Series system to
ON (
)
.
2. Press the Power Switch on the Control Panel to
ON (
).
3. Press the Power Switch on the computer and monitor to
ON (
).
4. Close all running programs except FMDOS.

Steps 5–7 only need to be performed on first start up after initial
installation, or after any major hardware changes. If you are certain
that no major hardware changes have occurred since your last
programming session, skip Steps 5–7 and continue with Step 8.
5. Click on
.
6. Select the following items for correct dispensing operation:
a. DP-2000 (This option is set up by selecting from
menu.)
b. Height Sensor
c. Camera Offset
d. Needle Sensor
e. Purge Station
7. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Consult On-line Help for questions.
8. Select in the Editing Main ProgramWindow.
If you receive any error messages concerning the motion controller, exit
FMDOS, press
SYSTEM RESET
on the Control Panel, and repeat steps 1-6.
9. Select from the .
10. Name your new file and press [ENTER].
11. Program in your dispensing pattern.
12. Click on in the Editing Main Program Window.
13. Click on or if the program is to be run from the computer.
14. Select your download program from
Program
on the system Control Panel.
15. Press
START
on the Control Panel to begin the dispensing program.
