6 Troubleshooting
Overview
If you have difficulty operating your dispensing system, use this section to identify a possible solution to
the problem. If you have difficulties not listed in this section, or the suggested solution does not correct
the problem, contact Asymtek Technical Support.
Basic System Troubleshooting

Symptom Possible Cause Recovery
A. Main Power Cable
disconnected.
Connect the Main Power Cable to an AC
power source.
B. Main Power Switch turned OFF.
Turn ON the Main Power Switch at the rear
of the system.
C. EMO is activated.
1. Turn EMO clockwise until it releases.
2. Close doors.
3. Press
Start button on Control Panel.
4. Press
FIND HOME.
D. Machine Exhaust Ventilation
not ON.
Make sure Exhaust Vent Duct is connected
to the factory exhaust system ductwork
according to specifications.
(600 SCFM air at 1 in. water column static
pressure)
System does not
power-up when
Start button is
pressed
E. Fuse Failed.
Replace fuse. See “Fuse Replacement
later in this section.
A. Tool offset incorrect.
Reconfigure Tool and perform a
Characterization.
B. Nozzle is damaged. Replace nozzle.
C. X, Y, Z location in ECNT
program is incorrect.
Edit Dispensing Program.
D. Motors slipped.
1. Press
RESET.
2. Wait three seconds.
3. Press
FIND HOME.
E. Activation of EMO button may
offset positioning.
Reinitiate the move sequence with the
Find X-Y home command at the beginning
of the sequence.
Dispenses in the
wrong location
F. Excess payload for the
available acceleration may
offset positioning.
Change the acceleration values in the
move sequence. Contact Asymtek
Technical Support for assistance.
