Adjusting the Fluid Pressure
The fluid pressure range is from 0 to 60 psi. Your actual fluid pressure setting depends both on the fluid
being dispensed and the Fluid Applicator used.
WARNING! Failure to comply with any of the recommended pressure settings could cause
serious injury to the user and/or damage to the dispensing system.
To adjust the fluid pressure:
1. Verify the Reservoir Air Pressure Pneumatic Switch on the right rear panel is in the
ON (l)
position.
2. Locate the Fluid Pressure Regulator adjustment knob on the front Control Panel.
3. Unlock the knob by pulling it out and then rotate the Fluid Pressure Regulator adjustment
knob counterclockwise until the Fluid Pressure Gauge registers 0 psi.
4. Rotate the knob clockwise until the Fluid Pressure Gauge registers the desired fluid pressure
for your application.
5. Monitor the Fluid Pressure Gauge to make sure that pressure builds at a steady rate. Watch for
dropping pressure indicating an air leak.
! If there is an air leak, identify the source, shut off the facility air, and fix the leak before
proceeding.
6. Lock the knob by pushing it in.
TIP For accurate pressure adjustment, lower the pressure below the desired level and
then increase to the desired pressure.
