Production Shutdown
Routine shutdown may vary depending on your particular requirements. However, it is recommended that
you incorporate the following procedure into your production shutdown routine:
To shut down at the end of a production shift:
1. Wait for the dispensing program to complete and verify that all motion has stopped.
2. Unload all workpieces.
3. Turn the Reservoir Air Pressure Switch on the right rear panel to the
OFF (0) position.
4. Remove the nozzle from the fluid applicator and immerse in solvent as necessary. Dry the
nozzle and inspect the orifice for blockage.
5. Exit ECNT.
6. Press the
Stop button on the Control Panel.
7. Exit Windows NT and turn off the computer.
8. Turn the Main Power Switch on the back of the system to the
OFF (0) position.
Service Shutdown
To shut down for service or maintenance:
1. Perform Steps 1 to 8 under “Production Shutdown” above.
2. Disconnect the Main Power cable and place it in a locked box for safety.
3. Disconnect the facility air hose and place a warning tag on the Main Air Inlet.
