5-4 Power-up and Testing
Pre-Power-up Checkout
Before powering up the dispensing system, perform the following checks. Use the checklist in
Appendix D to record completion of the procedures in this subsection.
CAUTION! The following procedures should only be performed by a trained
service technician.
Tools and Materials Needed
• 8 in-lb. Torque Wrench (P/N 48-8002) • Installation Checklist in Appendix D
• Fully Installed Dispensing System
The Torque Wrench is included in the dispensing system tool kit.
Positioner Cable Tension Check
Perform the following procedure to make sure that the Positioner Cables are at the proper tension.
To check the Positioner Cable tension:
1. Open the dispensing system Hatch.
2. Manually locate the Dispensing Head in mid-Y and mid-X position of the dispensing
chamber.
3. Locate the X, Y, and Y-idle Cable Tensioners. See Figure 5-3.
