A. Initial Power-Up and EMO

1. Test the Power Manager trip switch at the
rear of the machine and reload the Circuit
Breakers.

2. Test the machine ON/OFF switch. Machine power up/down
circuitry.
3. Verify the proper LEDs are lit on the Main
Interface PWA and Servo Interface PWA in
the following conditions.
Computer and machine both off.
Computer on, machine off.
Computer and machine both on.
Computer off and machine on.
Checks power circuits to a
large number of options on
the X-1000
4. With the computer and machine both on
Test front and rear EMO switches for proper
operation. Alarm on, Red-Yellow beacon lit,
24V and servo LEDs not lit.

5. Verify that a file can be saved and loaded
from the A drive.

6. Verify that the network connection works
properly by accessing the Excalibur-
>x1000-> machines ->sn directory and
verifying that the .mes, .pmc, and servo
signature files are all saved there.
Networking capability
7. Verify that the CD drive works properly. CD-ROM drive
8. Check that there is an FMNT icon on the
Windows NT Desktop. After double clicking
this icon, FMNT should load without any
error messages.

Verify that PEWIN32 program is available
from the start->programs menu and that it
is working properly.
