6. In the FmNT Scale Setup Window, Scale Operations tab, observe the weight displayed next to
Current Reading.
7. Remove the Scale Cup.
8. Did the weight displayed in the Scale Setup Window change?
Go to Step 13
Go to Step 9
9. Click the Zero Scale button.
10. Did the reading change to and stabilize at 0.00?
Go to Step 11
Stop here. Scale Operation is not root cause of the fault.
11. On the Setup Scale D104 tab, adjust the Filter and/or Stability settings. (Refer to the FmNT User
Guide or FmNT Online Help.) Then repeat Step 5 through Step 10.
12. Was the error corrected?
Contact Asymtek Technical Support
Stop here. Filter/Stability is root cause of Scale fault. If any problem with
accuracy exists, contact Asymtek Technical Support.
13. Add or remove weight while observing the Current Reading on the Scale Setup, Scale
Operations tab.
14. Does the reading remain 0.00 if weight is added or removed?
Go to Step 15
Go to Step 20
15. Return to the FmNT Main Window, click on Tools, click on Terminal, and click on the Scale button.
