8-126 Troubleshooting
8.5.1 Height Sensor Fault Isolation Procedure
The Height Sensor Fault Isolation Procedure consists of the following:
• Height Sensor Power Verification
• Height Sensor Probe Verification
• Height Sensor Repeatability Verification
• Height Sensor CAN Interface Verification
• Height Sensor PIO 96 Signal Verification
Before troubleshooting a problem, please familiarize yourself with the important information provided in
the Safety section of this manual.
WARNING! A dispensing system in need of component troubleshooting may have high
voltage present in both designated and unsuspected places that can result in
personal injury or death. Follow safety precautions listed in the Safety section of
this manual.
WARNING! Disconnect and lock out power to adjacent systems connected to the dispensing
system (such as loaders and ovens) before troubleshooting. Failure to do so may
result in serious personal injury or death.
CAUTION! Troubleshooting should only be performed by an Asymtek Field Service Engineer
or an Asymtek-trained service technician.
