8-110 Troubleshooting
11. Remove side Cover on Conveyor Controller.
12. Connect the Power Cable to the facility outlet, switch Main Circuit Breaker to
ON (I) position, press
the green
ON (I) button on the Operator’s Console, and enter FmNT.
13. In the FmNT Heater terminal, turn Heater to ON.
14. Measure VDC between Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 of the Solid State Relay.
15. Does the reading oscillate between 0 and 5 VDC?
Go to Step 18
Go to Step 16
16. Measure VAC between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of the Solid State Relay.
17. Does the reading oscillate between 0 and 208 to 240 VAC?
Heater Tooling Cable has failed. See Parts
Replacement
section.
Stop here. Heater Tooling is not root cause of the fault.
18. Observe the four power status LEDs in the upper middle section of the Conveyor Interface PWA.
19. Are all the LEDs illuminated?
Go to Step 20
Conveyor Controller (P/N 62-1677-00 on X-1020, and P/N 62-1676-00 on
X-1010) has failed. See
Parts Replacement section.
20. Exit FmNT, shut down Windows NT, press the black OFF (0) button on the Operator’s Console,
switch Main Circuit Breaker to
OFF (0) position, and disconnect Power Cable from the facility outlet.
21. Inspect the fuse on the Conveyor Controller power supply.
22. Is the fuse open?
Go to Step 23
Replace the fuse. See

23. Disconnect Conveyor AC Power Cable from Conveyor Controller.
