11. Did the FmNT message “30735 The motor have gone open loop? Press OK to continue and
reinitialize the motion controller” appear?
Stop here. A mechanical issue is the root cause of
the fatal following error.
Go to 8.2.1, PMAC Initialization Fault Isolation Procedure. If fault reoccurs,

Servo Motor Verification
1. Exit FmNT, shut down Windows NT, press the black
OFF (0) button on the Operator’s Console, and
switch the Main Circuit Breaker to the
OFF (0) position.
2. Disconnect the Servo Motor Power Cable from the Servo Amplifier PWA (P/N 62-1650-01) at the J1
connector labeled MOTOR.
3. Check the continuity at all three lines in the connector.
4. Is there continuity between all three lines?
Servo Motor (P/N 62-1650-01 for the X and Y
Motors, and P/N 62-1664-00 for the Z-axis Motor)
has failed. See
Parts Replacement section.
Go to Step 5
5. Measure the resistance between each identical line.
6. Is the reading 1.2 to 7 ohm?
Servo Motor (P/N 62-1650-01 for the X and Y
Motors, and P/N 62-1664-00 for the Z-axis Motor)
has failed. See
Parts Replacement section.
Go to 8.2.1, PMAC Initialization Fault Isolation Procedure. If fault reoccurs,
