PMAC Watchdog Error Verification
1. Open the Computer Door.
2. Locate and observe the yellow and green LED on the PMAC card slot.
3. Are the yellow and green LEDs illuminated?
Go to Step 14
Go to Step 4
4. Is the red LED between the yellow and green LEDs illuminated?
Verify fault and return to 8.2, Troubleshooting the
Servo Controller
Go to Step 5
CAUTION! Use proper Electrostatic Discharge precautions when handling the ESD sensitive
PMAC Card. Failure to do so, can result in irreversible damage to the PMAC
Card.
5. Verify that PMAC Card and Cables are connected securely.
6. Press the black
OFF (0) button on the Operator’s Console.
7. Exit FmNT.
8. Shut down Computer through Windows NT.
9. When the Windows NT is ready for the Computer power to be turned off, switch the Main Circuit
Breaker to
OFF (0).
10. Wait for a minimum of 30 seconds to power up the dispensing system.
11. Switch the Main Circuit Breaker to the
ON (I) position.
12. With the Computer powered up, observe the LEDs on the PMAC Card.
13. Is the red LED illuminated?
Stop here. The PMAC Watchdog is the root cause
of fault. If fault reoccurs, contact Asymtek Technical
Support.
Go to Step 14
