2 Safety
Overview
This section is intended to provide basic safety information necessary for installing, operating,
maintaining, and servicing the Axiom X-1000 Series Dispensing System. This section covers the
following topics:
• Recommended safety practices for personnel, the dispensing system, and the production
facility
• Dispensing system warning label definition and location
• Built-in safety features
To further optimize safe operation, maintenance, and servicing of the dispensing system, precautions and
recommended practices are included with the procedures throughout this manual.

Failure to properly operate and maintain the system in accordance with this
manual may jeopardize the built-in safety features.
