8-20 Troubleshooting
8.1.3 System Power Fault Isolation Procedure
The System Power Fault Isolation Procedure consists of the following:
• System Power Verification
• Cable Verification
• Front EMO Button Verification
• Rear EMO Button Verification
• Vent Switch Faker Verification
• Operator’s Console
OFF (0) Button Verification
• XY Servo Interface Power Verification
• Dispense Head Controller Power Verification
Before troubleshooting a problem, please familiarize yourself with the important information provided in
the Safety section of this manual.
WARNING! A dispensing system in need of troubleshooting may have High Voltage present
in both designated and unsuspected places that can result in injury or death.
Adhere to safety precautions listed in the Safety section of this manual.
WARNING! Disconnect and lockout power to systems connected to the dispensing system
(such as loaders and ovens) before troubleshooting. Failure to do so may result
in serious injury or death.
CAUTION! Troubleshooting should only be performed by an Asymtek Field Service Engineer
or an Asymtek-trained service technician.
