8-8 Troubleshooting
8.1.1 X and Y Motion Fault Isolation Procedure
The X and Y Motion Fault Isolation Procedure consists of the following:
Main Power Verification
System/Servo Power Verification
Interlock Verification
Servo Controller (PMAC) Verification
Before troubleshooting a problem, please familiarize yourself with the important information provided in
the Safety section of this manual.
WARNING! A dispensing system requiring troubleshooting may have High Voltage present in
both designated and unsuspected places that can result in injury or death.
Adhere to safety precautions listed in the Safety section of this manual.
WARNING! Disconnect and lockout power to systems connected to the dispensing system
(such as loaders and ovens) before troubleshooting. Failure to do so may result
in serious injury or death.
CAUTION! Troubleshooting should only be performed by an Asymtek Field Service Engineer
or an Asymtek-trained service technician.
Main Power Verification
1. Verify the Main Circuit Breaker on the Power Manager is in the ON (I) position.
2. Is the Power Manager Fan functioning?
Go to 8.1.2, Main Power Fault Isolation
Procedure
Go to Step 3
3. Is the green Computer power LED illuminated?
Go to Step 4
Go to System/Servo Power Verification in this subsection.
