Fluid Air Pressure Gauge Configuration
The digital Fluid Air Pressure Gauge on your dispensing system precisely measures the pressure going to
the syringe attached to the Dispensing Valve. The following procedure describes how to configure this
gauge to ensure accurate fluid dispensing performance.
? NOTE Depending on your system configuration, you can have up to two Fluid Air
Pressure Gauges.
To initialize a Digital Pressure Gauge:
1. Make sure the air pressure to the Valve 1 Fluid Air Pressure Gauge is OFF by turning the
Valve 1 Fluid Air Pressure Regulator knob counterclockwise until it stops. See Figure 5-5 in
the Power-up and Testing section of this manual.
2. To configure the Valve 1 Gauge, press and hold down the Set button for at least 2 seconds.
See Figure 6-14.
3. Select the Measuring Unit by pressing the Up button or Down button until the desired
measuring unit is displayed and then press
Set.
> Available units are kPa or MPa (PA), kgf/cm
2
(GF), bar (bAr), and psi (PSi).
4. Verify the Output 1 type is set on the normally open (1no) setting. If it is not displayed, press
the Up or Down button until
1no is displayed and then press Set.
? NOTE The output function of the digital gauge is not used on your
dispensing system.
5. Verify the Output 2 type is set on the normally open (2no) setting. If it is not displayed, press
the Up button or Down button until 2no is displayed and then press Set.
? NOTE The output function of the digital gauge is not used on your dispensing
system.
6. Verify the Response Time is set at 192 ms. If it is not displayed, press the Up or Down
