3.12.5.2 Magnetic Fluid Level Sensor

The magnetic fluid level sensor (Figure 3-29) monitors the fluid level inside a cartridge. A magnet is

inserted on top of the follower inside of the fluid cartridge and when the fluid level gets low enough, the

sensor detects the magnet on top of the follower and a low fluid warning is issued to the operator. The

sensor is held by a bracket that attaches directly to the fluid cartridge. The sensor connects to a receptacle

on the electrical bulkhead labeled

LOW FLUID SENSOR. It is compatible with 30 cc, 2.5 ounce, and 6.0

ounce cartridges.

 NOTE The Fluidmove system configuration file may have to be modified in order to use the

magnetic fluid level sensor.
