Item Name Description
1 Camera
Provides video input to the system computer. It is a miniature, CCD-
type (Charge Coupled Device) machine vision, high resolution, black
and white camera.
2 Lens System
Allows for magnification and focusing of the image being received by
the camera. Consists of an aperture, a lens, and a tube. It is quick-
release and vibration-resistant.
3 Lighting Module
Provides clear, high contrast image quality resulting in consistently
accurate fiducial identification on a wide range of workpieces.
Contains both red and blue LEDs that can be independently adjusted
to 255 light levels using the Fluidmove software.
4 Image Capture Card
Captures the camera video image and sends a digitized signal to the
computer to be processed.
5 Flat Screen Monitor Displays Fluidmove operator-machine interface screens.
6 Computer
Runs the Fluidmove software that provides the operator-machine
interface needed to run the system. It stores and processes
information vital to system operation.
The video component of the computer’s mother board is responsible
for producing the visual output from the computer. It receives the
computer processor output and tells the monitor which of the dots on
the screen to light up and in what color. This allows real-time display
of the camera video image and the Fluidmove windows on the
monitor screen.
