6.9 Cleaning the Fan Filters
The two fans located on the rear and side of the dispensing system help to regulate the internal
temperature of the system. The fan on the rear of the dispensing system is an exhaust fan that vents the
dispensing chamber. The fan on the side of the servo shelf blows cool air onto the components inside. The
covers and filtering sheets should be cleaned or replaced as needed.
To clean the fans and vents:
1. Press the
OFF (0) button on the operator’s console.
2. Locate the fans on the back and side of the dispensing system as shown in Figure 6-6.
3. Carefully remove the plastic cover and filter (P/N 40-2546) on each fan.
4. Clean the dust from the cover and filter with blown air or rinse in water.
5. When dry, reinstall the plastic cover and filter sheet on each fan.
6. Press the
ON (l) button when ready to restart the dispensing system.
