4. In the Heater Control Window (Figure 4-14), locate the loops (channels) for the heater and
cooler to be activated.

5. Activate the TCA by double clicking the icons for the matching heater and cooler loops in the
On/Off column until the icons
turn yellow and red.
NOTE If strict temperature control is not needed, you can activate the heater on the
TCA without activating the cooler. However, the heater must be activated in
order for the cooler to operate.
The thermal control assembly is operating properly if the following are observed:
• The Present Value (PV) column indicates the heater is heating up to, and stabilizing
at, the set point (SP).
• The Message column displays the message “OK.”
• The cooler air will come on to maintain the SP temperature (if activated).
6. If the heater is operating properly, click on
Exit to close the Heater Control Window. If it is
not operating properly, verify all connections and cooler air pressure. Call a service
technician if necessary.
