Note: The Immediate Response String and Acknowledge String share between them one
output trigger, one turnaround delay, one echo terminator, and one output
terminator.
ESC.J Abort Output Request
This command aborts all pending or partially transmitted output, from either ACL
commands or escape sequences. This includes the output data itself, handshake strings,
turnaround delays, echo suppression, output triggers, and the "?" message.
ESC.K Abort ACL Command
This command aborts any partially decoded ACL command and discards commands in the
buffer. Except for OT, WA, and WN, any partially executed ACL command is allowed to
finish. If an OT command is waiting for the TEACH button to be pressed, the command is
aborted and sends no output to the host. Any WA or WN wait is terminated immediately.
