WARNING: Allow only qualified personnel to perform the
following tasks. Follow the safety instructions in this document
and all other related documentation.
CAUTION: Handle O-rings and seals carefully. If O-rings or
seals are damaged, leakage or premature dispenser failure
may occur.
CAUTION: Protect the solenoid valve from contact with coating
material or solvent. Contamination could cause solenoid failure.
Perform the following steps to remove the dispenser from the robot:
1.Shut down the system before you remove the dispenser from the
robot. Refer to the appropriate system manual for procedures.
WARNING: System or material pressurized. Relieve pressure.
Failure to observe this warning may result in serious injury.
2.See Figure 2. Disconnect the air line from the upper body fitting (11),
or remove the fitting from the upper body.
3.Disconnect the syringe (2) from the syringe connector (10).
4.Disconnect these connectors from the dispenser:
Ssolenoid valve connector (1)
Sheater connector (9)
5.If the micro-adjustment assembly (3) is adjusted to the correct setting,
note the setting for future reference.
6.Remove the mounting screws (5) securing the dispenser to the
robotmounting plate (4).
