CAUTION: This unit cooks by boiling water and gets extremely hot!

Use potholders when removing from microwave. Use caution to avoid

tipping/spilling hot water from the base.

Use and Care Instructions

1. Remove aluminum insert from plastic base of egg boiler, fill plastic

base up to “water level line” with tap water (1-1/2 cups). This is

absolutely essential.

2. Replace aluminum insert and place one to four eggs in the indented

cups. Eggshell does not need to be pierced.

3. Replace plastic top so that it fits firmly and squarely over base (it

does not “snap” on, however) and boil at high power setting using the

following times (times may vary).

Soft Egg: 600 watts – 7 min 800 watts – 6 min 1000 watts – 5 min

Medium Egg: 600 watts – 8 min 800 watts – 7 min 1000 watts – 6 min

Hard Egg: 600 watts – 10 min 800 watts – 9 min 1000 watts – 8 min

4. After microwaving eggs, allow egg boiler to cool 2 minutes before

removing cover and eating. Briefly run cold water onto eggs to stop

further cooking.

5. To clean, hand wash or place in top rack of dishwasher. Do not use

sharp objects or abrasive cleaners.
