5 Parameterisation
BU 0135 GB-2713 Pre-series version 61
5.1 Parameter
All parameters can be adjusted "online"
NOTE
After parameterisation, initially only the value in the RAM is changed. In order to make the
parameterisation permanent, the parameters must be transfer
red from the RAM to the flash
memory (see parameter P550).
In the state as delivered, the characteristics /parameter settings of the motor starter are
essentially determined by DIP switch S and up to four potentiometers. If all of the settings are to
be made via parameters, parameter P130 must be set accordingly.
The individual parameters are combined in various groups. The first digit of the parameter number indicates
the assignment to a menu group:
Menu group No. Master function
Operating displays (P0--):
For the selection of the physical units of the display value.
Basic parameters (P1--):
Contain basic motor starter settings, e.g. switch on and switch off procedures
and, along with the motor data, are sufficient for standard applications.
Motor data (P2--):
Setting of the motor current and starting torque / starting voltage for motor
starters with integrated soft start.
Control terminals (P4--):
Analog input and output scaling, specification of digital input and relay output
functions.
Additional parameters (P5--):
Functions dealing with e.g. the BUS interface, pulse frequency or error
acknowledgement.
Information (P7--):
Display of e.g. actual operating values, old error messages, equipment status
reports or software version.
Array parameters -01
      ...
      -xx
Some parameters in these groups can be programmed and read in several levels
(arrays). After the parameter is selected, the array level must also be selected.
Note
Parameter P523 ca
n be used to load the factory settings for all parameters at any time. This can
be helpful, e.g. during the commissioning of a motor starter whose parameters no longer
correspond with the factory settings.
Note
If parameter changes are to be permanen
tly saved in the motor starter, they must be copied
from the RAM to the flash memory using parameter P550. This copying process can only be
guaranteed for approx. 100 times.
Note / Explanation:
Feature Meaning
READ Parameter can only be read
RAM Parameter can be changed, but cannot be saved in the flash memory.
READ /
FLASH
According to the setting of parameter P130, the parameter can either only be read or
can be changed and saved in the flash memory.
FLASH The parameter is read out of the flash memory and can be changed.
