Product Description The MLR and MLRC Series magnetically coupled rotary/linear feedthroughs are a series of all metal devices suitable for sample transfer and similar needs.
Installation: The feedthrough is UHV clean and can be installed directly from the crate. As usual, care should be exercised to protect the flange knife-edge. The standard unit mounts to a 2.75” OD flange (other flanges are available as required). These units are designed for horizontal or near horizontal applications. Depending on the specific application, and options selected, they may be used in all orientations. Consult the factory for specific considerations.
Bakeout Procedure: ********** WARNING ********* HIGH MAGNETIC FIELDS. DO NOT PUT YOUR FINGERS BETWEEN THE MAGNET ASSEMBLY AND MAGNETIC MATERIALS. ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES WHEN AROUND EXPOSED RARE EARTH MAGNETS Magnet assembly removal will expose the rare earth magnets. If a magnet chips, such as during handling, the chip particle may be expelled at high speed by the field. Although the particle may be small, it does pose a danger of eye damage. DO NOT DROP THE MAGNET ASSEMBLY.
Appendix II - Limited Warranty and Intellectual Property Coverage Products manufactured by Nor-Cal Products, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Nor-Cal”) are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of shipment from Nor-Cal to the buyer. Any modification to the product by the buyer or their agent voids this warranty. Liability under this warranty is expressly, limited to replacement or repair (at Nor-Cal ’s option) of defective parts.
