STEP 1: MEASURe & mark Plywood On each piece of plywood, measure and mark 9” from the central part of the shortest edge of the board. Measure and mark the center of the plywood. STEP 2: cut and sand the plywood Using the 6” hole saw, cut out a hole centered on the marked spot on both plywood boards. For best results, drill on the lowest speed, take your time, and only apply light pressure. STEP 3: sand the plywood Using a random orbit sander, sand the plywood boards until they’re smooth.

STEP 5: Bevel the frame pieces Bevel each of the frame pieces at a 45° angle using the miter saw. STEP 6: Cut out the legs Using the miter saw, cut the 2 x 4 lumber into four 12” pieces with a 37° bevel on one end of each piece. STEP 7: measure and mark the legs Measure and mark 2” down from the center of the non-beveled ends of your 12” pieces. Then place the point of a compass on the mark and draw a half circle.

STEP 8: Cut the Radius Using the jig saw, cut along the half circle lines on each of the four legs. Then use a random orbit sander to smooth out the edges into a rounded shape. STEP 9: Drill holes in the legs Measure and mark 1” down from the center of the rounded edges and drill a 1/2” hole through each leg.

STEP 10: Assemble the frame On a flat surface, lay out two of the 24” pieces and two of the 48” pieces in the shape of a box frame. Pre-drill and then assemble the frame with two 3” screws at each corner. Repeat to form the second frame. STEP 11: Drill Holes for legs On the assembled frames, measure and mark 3” in from the center of the corners on both of the 48” sides and drill using a 1/4” bit.

STEP 13: Attach plywood Drill 18 holes around the edges of each plywood board, then screw them to the frames. STEP 14: Attach Handles to the frames Use eight screws to attach a handle to one side of each frame. STEP 15: Paint or stain Paint or stain the boards and let them dry completely.
