INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing and purchasing our Nokta RS Pinpointer. Nokta RS Pinpointer is a hand-held metal detector designed to pinpoint targets detected by conventional metal detectors. WARNINGS and REMINDERS Do not expose the device to very hot (for example, inside a hot car) or cold conditions for extended periods of time. RS Pinpointer is not a digging tool. Do not use it for digging or extracting stones or metals. Only the end of the probe is waterproof.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Battery: To open the battery compartment, place your thumb on the recess, press down and slide forward. Insert the supplied 9V battery paying attention to the plus (+) and minus (-) poles. If the battery is inserted in the wrong direction, the battery cover will not close. Low Battery Life Alert: When the battery is low, the device will sound 3 beeps at start up and will continue working until the battery dies.
LIMITED WARRANTY: Nokta Engineering warrants to the end-user customer that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase (excluding the battery & case).
