DVB-H RF test measurement

Galvanic DVB-H RF test measurement

Note: If the RSSI value is to be checked also from the RF connector, the procedure is as described in

the step list above except that the RSSI value is more accurate i.e. with signal level -40dBm the value

measured should be -40 dBm (±3dBm).

Steps

1. Disassemble the phone.

2. Place disassemble phone to module jig MJ-75 and connect “RF probe” to DVB-H antenna connector through

the dedicated hole in MJ-75. (see figure).

3. Proceed the steps 2-8 according to chapter DVB-H RX testing - Verifying the DVB-H functionality with

RX test.

DVB-H Tuning

DVB-H tuning is required when DVB-H PWB ASSY or any of the DVB-H antenna tuning components (L9400,

V9400, V9401, R9400, R9401, C9400, C9402, C9410) has been replaced.

All “DVB-H PWB ASSY” spare parts will be supplied as version HWID 1500 (1PH-15a). HW version is printed on

PWB (see red circle in figure).
