5. To specify the cable loss from a module jig to the communication tester, choose Set Loss from the

Tuning menu.

6. In the

Set Loss

window, click the Jig tab, and select the right jig for the phone from the drop-down list.

Alternatively, you can add a new jig by clicking Add, and selecting the desired jig from the list.

7. Click the Cable tab and add the extra cable attenuation.

8. Read and save tuning values from a phone just in case. In the Flashing pull-down select

RF/BB Permanent Memory Settings Preserver. Check RF & BB & Product settings. Press Read and

Save to a file

9. To start autotuning, choose Auto-Tune from the Tuning menu.

10. In the

Auto-Tune

window, click Options.

11. In the

Auto-Tune options

window, ensure the Enable showing of message boxes check box is checked,

and click OK.
