ENGLISH • If the device or the Pop-Port connector has been exposed to sweat or salt water, wash it immediately with freshwater to avoid corrosion. The device must be carefully wiped dry. Get started Insert the plug of the HS-29 headphones (see part 1 on the title page) into the connector on the AD-45 control unit (10). Insert the Pop-PortTM plug (11) into the Pop-Port connector on your compatible phone. The headset is now ready for use.
ENGLISH Call handling To make a call, use your phone in the normal way when the device is connected to your phone. During the call, speak into the microphone (9) of the device. If your phone supports voice dialing, press and hold the call key (5), and proceed as described in the user guide of your phone. To answer an incoming call, press the call key, or use the phone keys. To reject an incoming call, press the call key twice. To end a call, press the call key, or use the phone keys.
ENGLISH To play a track, select it in the music player of your phone, and press the play/pause key (6). See the user guide of your phone for details. To select the next track, press the fast forward key (7). To select the previous track, press the rewind key (8). To scroll through the tracks quickly during playback, press and hold either key. To pause or restart the music player, press the play/pause key. Listen to the radio To listen to the FM radio, start the radio feature of your phone.
ENGLISH Care and maintenance Your device is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be treated with care. The suggestions below will help you protect your warranty coverage. • Keep all accessories and enhancements out of the reach of small children. • Do not use or store the device in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts and electronic components can be damaged. • Do not store the device in hot areas.
ENGLISH • Do not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and fine mechanics. • Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the device. • Do not paint the device. Paint can clog the moving parts and prevent proper operation. If the headset is not working properly, take it to the nearest authorized service facility for service.
