PDA display
Display features:
• Module size (width x height x thickness) 102.3mm x 49.044mm x 2.12mm (across panel) 3.9mm (across
connector)
• Resolution 800*352
• Numbers of colours up to 16.7M
• 1 pixel data memory (24 bit)
• Transflective optics, normal black
The display has two different interfaces:
• CDP (Compact Display Port) interface for data transmission. CDP is a high speed serial interface with
differential clock channel and two differential data channels (total 6 wires). CDP is connected to Hailstorm
display buffer (D5600) that is located on system/ RF module. CDP signals go through common mode filters
Z5600, Z5601 and Z5602.
• LoSSI (Low Speed Screen Interface) for command/parameter transfer. LoSSI is a 9-bit serial interface
connected to the application processor. LoSSI signal go through the EMC filtering ASIP Z4503.
The display is located in the cover part. The interconnection between the LCD module and the 1NP UI-FPC is
implemented with a 24-pin board-to-board connector.
The display module does not require any tunings in service.
Display buffer
Display buffer S1D13745 (D5600) and needed peripheral components are located on system/ RF module. It
is used as a data buffer between engine and PDA display. It converts MeSSI image data to CDP format which
is routed to PDA display.
S1D13745 display buffer features:
• Input bus is 8/16-bit Intel 80 interface MeSSI
• Output is High Speed Serial Interface (HiSSI) supported with 1/2-channel up to 450 Mbps per channel or
3-channel up to 650 Mbps per channel
• 1280K byte display buffer and supports 24 bpp display modes
• Resolutions are supported up to 856x480. Resolutions and frame-rates are completely programmable
Keyboards
