Baseband Tuning Operations

■ Energy Management Calibration

External power supply is needed.

Energy Management (EM) Calibration is used for calibrating the battery and charger settings

of the phone.

Preparation for EM Calibration:

• Connect the DC Cable CA-5S between JBV-1 and Vin of the phone for charger

calibration.

• Connect 12…15 V from the power supply to JBV-1.

NOTE! Check that the connection is FBUS (does not work with MBUS).

To start tuning:

1. From the Tuning menu, choose “Energy Management Calibration”.

Energy management values to be calibrated are checked.

2. To show the current values in the phone memory and to check that the com-

munication with the phone works, click Read From Phone.
