3. About your phone
• Switch on your phone
• Press and hold for more than a second.
The phone might ask for a Personal Identification (PIN) code or a
security code. See “PIN and PUK codes” on page 67 for more
information.
Warning!
Do not switch on the phone in places where wireless
phone use is prohibited or where the use of the phone could
cause interference or danger.
Your phone has a retractable antenna that
works with the internal antenna when
retracted. Extend the antenna when you
need to get a better signal.
Tip:
As with any other radio transmitting
device, do not touch the antenna
unnecessarily when the phone is
switched on. Contact with the
antenna affects call quality and
might cause the phone to operate at
a higher power level than needed.
