Your phone and other devices
Check the status of an IR connection
The status of an IR connection is indicated by .
• When is displayed continuously, there is an IR connection
between your phone and the other device.
• When blinks, your phone is trying to establish a connection with
the other device or a connection has been lost.
• When is not displayed, no IR connection exists.
• Print using IR
You can print stored text messages or phone book entries using any
printer set up for printing through an IR port.

Scroll to where the text message is stored (inbox or outbox) and

Align the phone’s IR port with the printer’s IR port.
Note:
Be sure the phone is within 3 feet of the printer’s IR port and
that there are no obstructions between the printer’s IR port
and the phone’s IR port.
