Appendix 1
Foreword
This section of the service manual (Appendix) contains specific details for
the NSE–6NX handportable telephone.
The appendix comprises chapters as follows: Chapter 1, Foreword (this
chapter); Chapter 2, Transceiver NSE–6NX, containing an exploded view
of the NSE–6NX variant (including a list of assembly parts) plus
component parts lists covering the system module and the display
module.
NOTE: The Service Manual is intended for use by qualified
service personnel only.
NOTE: When assembling cover screws, use 17 Ncm torque.
Transceiver NSE–6NX
Functional Description
The NSE–6 is a radio transceiver unit designed for the GSM network. It is
a GSM phase 2, power class 4 transceiver providing 15 power levels with
a maximum output power of 2 W. The transceiver a is true 3 V transceiv-
er.
The transceiver consists of System/RF module (US8), Keyboard module
(UK8) and assembly parts.
The plug–in SIM ( Subscriber Identity Module ) card is located inside the
phone, slot for inserting is in the left side of the phone, accessable when
battery is removed and slide is open.
