Display and display backlight

The main display includes four white LEDs for display backlights inside of the display module. Display

backlight current is monitored using LED driver feedback input.

Keyboard and keyboard backlight

Numeric keys, power and volume up/down keys are placed on the flexible PWB.

There are six white LEDs placed on the keyboard PWB for illumination of the keyboard. Supply source for the

display and directional key backlights is implemented using an external white LED driver. The driver increases

battery voltage up to 13V. The numeric keypad LEDs are powered by a separate current source LED driver.

Slide switch

The detection of the position of the slide is made through a MR sensor and a magnet. The magnet is internal

to the IHF speaker.

When the slide fold is opened, the applied magnetic field is high. This is sensed by the MR Sensor.
