To personalize the profile, select Customize and the setting that you want to
change. For the tone settings, see "Tones," p. 32. Select Light effects to activate the
pulsating light indicator if the phone is switched on and the display light is switched
off. To rename a profile, select Profile name. The Normal profile cannot be renamed.
To set the profile to be active until a certain time up to 24 hours, select Timed,
and set the time for the profile setting to end.
Themes
A theme is a package that may include a screen saver, a wallpaper image, a
ringing tone, and a color scheme to customize your phone for different events
and environments.
Select Menu > Settings > Themes. To activate a theme, select Select theme to
view the Themes folder in Gallery. Open the folder, and scroll to a theme. Select
Options > Apply theme. To download new themes, select Theme downloads.
Tones
You can change the settings of the selected active profile.
Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and from the following options:
Incoming call alert, Ringing tone, Ringing volume, Vibrating alert, Message alert
tone, Keypad tones, and Warning tones. You can find the same settings in the
Profiles menu. See "Profiles," p. 31. Select Alert for to set the phone to ring only
upon calls from phone numbers that belong to a selected caller group. Scroll to
the caller group that you want to select, or select All calls > Mark.
Display settings
Select Menu > Settings > Display settings.
Wallpaper—to set your phone to display a background image when the phone is
in standby mode
Color schemes—to change the color in some display components
Operator logo—to set your phone to display the operator logo
Screen saver—to choose an animation or a still image as screen saver from
Graphics. Select Time-out and the time after which the screen saver is activated.
Select On to activate the screen saver.
Time and date settings
Select Menu > Settings > Time and date settings.
Clock—to set the phone to show the clock in the standby mode, adjust the clock,
and select time zone and the time format
