■ Spinner
You can use the spinner to enter characters, scroll through
different lists, and browse messages.
To use the spinner, rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise.
The middle selection key is located in the center of the spinner.
In the standby mode you can use the spinner as follows:
Press and hold the middle selection key to enter a phone number.
Rotate the spinner to scroll to a digit of the phone number in the character bar
that is shown at the bottom of the display, and press Select. Repeat this for each
digit of the phone number.
To call the phone number, press the call key, or select Options > Call.
To save the phone number with a name, select Options > Save, and the letters of
the name one by one from the character bar, and Options > Accept.
■ Standby mode
When the phone is ready for use, and you have not keyed in any characters, the
phone is in the standby mode.
• Signal strength of the cellular network (1)
• Name of the network or the operator logo (2)
• Battery charge level (3)
• The upper selection key (4) in the standby
mode is Go To
• The middle selection key (5) in the standby mode is Menu
• The lower selection key (6) in the standby mode may be Names
