Product specific tools

The table below gives a short overview of service tools that can be used for testing, error analysis and repair

of product RM-209, refer to various concepts.

FS-41 Product specific flash

adapter

The product specific adapter can be used for assembled phones

(RM-209 and RM-70).

FS-41 is an interface between a phone and the concerning SS-46 or

SS-62 device. It is needed in case the assembled phone needs to be

contacted, except the DKU-2 or the CA-53 cable can be used (over USB).

Features include:

• Compatible to SS-46 (similar to DCT-4 flash adapter), supports

flashing

• Compatible to SS-62 (similar to DCT-4 docking station adapter), a

PC can be connected by using SS-46 or CU-4

• Using SS-46: flashing is supported

• Using CU-4: supports flashing, management calibration is

supported. If the RF-coupler SA-76 is attached RF-Go/NoGo

testing is supported as well

• Easy phone attachment and detachment

• Reliable phone locking

• Replaceable test pins
