Press the roller and then press Options.

Scroll to Message settings and press the roller.
Message center number appears on screen.

Press the roller.
• Enter the message center number using
the keypad.
• To move the cursor between numbers, scroll with the roller.
• To backspace (and delete) a number, press Clear.
• To erase all numbers from the screen, press and hold Clear.
Note:
The message center number can be up to 21 digits long.

Press OK to save the number.

Press to return to the Start screen.
• Write and send text messages*

At the Start screen, press Menu.

Press the roller and then press Write.

Enter your message and press Options.
Tip:
For a faster way to write messages, see “Write words with predictive
text” on page 82.

Scroll to Send message and press the roller.

Enter the recipient’s number and press OK.
Save a message in your Outbox

After writing a message, press Options.

Scroll to Save message and press the roller.
Message saved appears on screen.

Press to return to the Start screen.
