Scroll until Security settings appears and
press the roller.

Scroll until Call restrictions appears and
press the roller.

Scroll with the roller to display each of the
following options. Press the roller to select
the restriction of your choice.
• Outgoing calls . . . . . Blocks all outgoing calls
• International calls . . Blocks all outgoing international calls
• International calls
except to home
country . . . . . . . . . . . Allows outgoing international calls only to your
home country
• Incoming calls . . . . . Blocks all incoming calls
• Incoming calls
if roaming . . . . . . . . . Blocks all incoming calls when roaming
• Cancel all call
restrictions . . . . . . . . Cancels all call restrictions
For each of the restriction options (except Cancel all call restrictions),
you have the following options: Activate, Cancel, or Check status. If you
choose Activate, you’ll be asked for your restriction password, see
“Change your restriction password” on page 70 for more information.
Note:
Even when calls are restricted, it still may be possible to call
emergency numbers such as 911.
• Fixed dialing*
You can restrict outgoing calls to selected phone numbers if supported by
your service provider. To create and edit a fixed dialing list, you’ll need the
PIN2 code, see “PIN2 code” on page 70.
Note:
Even with fixed dialing set to On, it still may be possible to call
emergency numbers such as 911.
