14. Security
You can use keypad lock, restrict incoming and outgoing calls, use security
codes, and other methods to secure your phone against unauthorized use.
• Lock the keypad
You can lock your phone’s keypad to prevent accidental calls while
carrying the phone in your pocket or purse.
•Press and hold .
Keys locked appears on screen.
• Unlock the keypad
•Press Unlock, and then press OK or open the slide.
Keys unlocked appears on screen.
Note:
If Slide setting is disabled (Settings > Phone settings > Slide setting),
you can only unlock the keys by pressing Unlock, and OK or
and OK.
• Slide setting
With Slide setting activated, you can answer or end calls, exit menus, and
lock or unlock your keypad by opening or closing the slide.
Turn the slide setting On or Off

At the Start screen, press Menu.

Scroll until Settings appears and press the roller.

Scroll until Phone settings appears and press the roller.

Scroll until Slide setting appears and press the roller.

Scroll to On or Off and press the roller.
Slide setting on (or off) appears on screen.
