Applications
• DOWNLOAD APPLICATIONS
You can download new Java applications in different ways.
Warning: Only install software from sources that offer adequate protection
against viruses and other harmful software.
Application downloads
1 At the start screen, select Menu > Applications > App. downloads.
After a brief pause, the list of available WAP bookmarks appears in the display.
2 Scroll to the appropriate bookmark that contains the application you wish to
download, and press Select to connect to the WAP page. See “Navigate the
wireless Internet” on page 92 for information on browsing WAP pages.
3 Scroll to More bookmarks (if necessary) and press Select to access the list of
WAP bookmarks in your Services menu.
Game downloads
See “Game downloads” on page 75.
PC Suite
Use the Java Application installer from PC Suite to download the applications in
your phone.
Note: Only install software from sources that you trust.
Note: When you download a game or an application, it may be saved in the
Games
menu instead of the Applications menu.
• MEMORY STATUS FOR APPLICATIONS
You can view the size of memory available for game and application installations.
At the start screen, select Menu > Applications > Memory. After a brief pause, the
amount of free memory appears in the display.
