Signal strength (1)—A higher bar indicates a stronger network signal. Battery level (2)—A higher bar indicates more charge in the battery. Menu (3)—Press the Left selection key to select this option. ■ Indicators and icons Depending on your wireless service provider and the model number of your phone, some or all of the following indicators and icons may appear on the start screen: Icon Indicates... Phone at a glance ■ Get the most out of this guide The following sections illustrate the various components of your phone. Familiarize yourself with these sections to help you understand the instructions that follow. This guide uses certain terms for the steps that you are asked to perform. • Press means to press and release a key quickly. For example, press 7 means press the key on the keypad that is labeled with the number 7 and the letters “pqrs”.
2. When you arrive at a menu, press Select (the Left selection key) to enter submenus or, when the browser appears on display, press Connect to enter that menu. • Press Back (the Right selection key) to return to the previous menu. • Press Back or the End key from any submenu or press Exit from the main menu level to return to the start screen. Shortcuts You can go directly to almost any menu or submenu, as well as activate most features by using a shortcut.
Set up your phone 2. Set up your phone ■ Antenna Your phone has two antennas: • The retractable antenna is active when fully extended (1). • The internal antenna is always active (2). In the Nokia 6015i phone, the GPS antenna is also internal and is activated when placing emergency calls or when On is selected from the Location info sharing menu. For more information on location info sharing, see Location info sharing, 50. Your device has an internal antenna located towards the top of the phone.
■ Battery Always switch the device off, and disconnect the charger before removing the battery. Remove the back cover 1. With the back of the phone facing you, push down on the back cover release button. 2. Slide the back cover toward the bottom of the phone and remove. Remove the battery After you have removed the back cover, insert your finger into the finger grip, and lift the battery from its compartment. Replace the battery 1.
Set up your phone Charge the battery 1. Plug the charger into a standard ac outlet. 2. Insert the charger output plug into the round jack at the bottom end of the phone. After a few seconds, the battery indicator in the display starts to scroll from bottom to top. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take a few minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made. ■ Turn your phone on or off 1.
You can also plug a compatible headset into the 2.5mm headset jack on the side of your phone to allow hands-free operation. (See Enhancements, 88 for information.) ■ Change the Xpress-on™ covers Note: Before removing the cover, always switch off the power, and disconnect the charger and any other device. Avoid touching electronic components while changing the covers. Always store and use the device with the covers attached.
Set up your phone 2. Place the keymat into the new front cover. 3. Press the front cover and keymat against the phone, and snap the front cover into place. Warning: Always replace the front cover before replacing the battery and the back cover. Replacing the back cover first may cause damage to your phone. Replace the battery 1. Position the battery so the positive and negative indicators on the battery match up with the positive and negative indicators on the phone.
■ Make a call Note: Before making or receiving a call, fully extend the retractable antenna. Using the keypad 1. Enter the phone number (including the area code), and press the Talk key. (To delete a character to the left of the cursor, press Clear.) 2. Press the End key to end the call, or End call to cancel the call attempt. Using the contacts list 1. At the start screen, scroll up or down to the entry you wish to view. 2.
Set up your phone ■ Answer calls Answer or silence/reject an incoming call 1. Press the Talk key or Answer to answer the call. 2. Press the End key or Silence/Reject (carrier dependent) to mute the ringing tone; then press Answer to answer the call, or do nothing, and the call is eventually diverted to voicemail. Answer or silence/reject an incoming call Note: Silence/Reject is a carrier dependent feature. 1. Press the Talk or Answer key to answer the call. 2. To mute the ringing tone, press Silence.
Using the loudspeaker You can use your phone as a loudspeaker during a call. Do not hold the phone to your ear during the loudspeaker operation. While in a call: • To activate the loudspeaker, press Loudsp. • To deactivate the loudspeaker during a call, press Handset. The loudspeaker is deactivated automatically when a call (or a call attempt) ends or when certain enhancements are connected. Options during a call Many of the options that you can use during a call, are network services.
Set up your phone ■ Keyguard With keyguard, you can lock the keypad to prevent keys from being pressed accidentally. Remember to lock your phone keypad to prevent accidental calls. If the keypad is locked, it unlocks when you receive a call. After the call, the lock automatically reactivates. When the keyguard is on, calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your phone. Key in the emergency number, and press the Talk key. See Automatic keyguard, 55.
3. Text entry You can use two methods for entering text and numbers: • Standard mode is the only way to enter text into the contacts list and to rename caller groups. • Predictive text input is a quick and easy method for writing messages or creating a calendar note. ■ Standard mode Text (Abc) • Press Clear to backspace the cursor and delete a character. • Press and hold Clear to backspace continuously and delete characters.
Text entry Numbers (123) To switch to 123 mode from Abc mode, press and hold # at any text entry screen until the icon in the upper left corner of the display switches from Abc to 123 (or vice versa). Note: In text modes (Abc, abc, ABC and predictive text), you can also enter the number by holding the number key down. Punctuation and special characters While at any text entry screen, press * to display special characters (press and hold * if predictive text is on).
• If a displayed word is not correct, press * to see other matches. To return to the previous word in the list of matches, press Previous. • If ? appears after a word, press Spell to add the word to the dictionary. • Press 1 to insert a period into your message. • Press and hold * to display special characters. Press * again to cycle through all available characters. • Press # to switch predictive text on or off and to use predictive text in various modes.
Contacts list 4. Contacts list The contacts list can hold up to 250 contacts (up to 500 for Nokia 6019i phone) with multiple numbers and text notes for each contact. The amount of numbers and text entries that you can save may vary, depending on length and the total number of entries in the contacts list. ■ Search At the start screen, select Contacts > Search. Press Select and highlight the contact you wish to view. ■ Add new contacts Save a name and number 1.
Save multiple numbers and text items You can save different types of phone numbers and short text items per name to the phone memory. The first number you save for any entry is automatically set as the default, but the default number can always be changed. 1. At the start screen, press the Scroll down key to display a list of entries. Scroll to the entry to which you wish to add a phone number or text item. 2. Press Details > Options > Add number or Add detail, and press Select. 3.
Contacts list Options 1. At the start screen, select Contacts > Caller groups. Family, VIP, Friends, Business, and Other are the available caller groups. 2. Scroll to highlight a group, and press Select to display the following caller group options: Rename group—Rename the group to your preference. Group ringing tone—Set the ringing tone for the group. Group logo—Turn the graphic for the caller group on or off or view the graphic. Group members—Add or remove members from the caller group.
Delete speed dialing numbers 1. At the start screen, select Contacts > Speed dialling. 2. Scroll to the speed dialing location you wish to delete, and press Options. 3. Select Delete > OK. ■ Edit contacts list entries 1. At the start screen, press the Scroll down key to display the contents of your contacts list. 2. Scroll to the entry you would like to edit, and press Details. Edit phone number 1. Highlight the phone number you would like to edit and press Options. 2.
Contacts list View name—View the name of the contact. Delete—Delete the entire contact entry from your contacts list. E-mail address entry 1. Highlight the e-mail address entry you would like to send or update and press Options. 2. Select one of the following options, and press OK. Send e-mail—Send an e-mail. Edit detail—Edit existing details of e-mail. Delete detail—Delete existing e-mail. View—View the details of the e-mail contact.
■ Delete contacts list entries 1. At the start screen, select Contacts > Delete. 2. To delete individual entries, select One by one and press Select. 3. Scroll to the entry you wish to delete, and select Delete > OK to confirm. 4. To delete the entire contents of your contacts list, select Delete all > OK. 5. Select OK to confirm or Back to return to Contacts. If OK, enter the security code, and press OK. See Security code, 64 for more information. ■ View the contacts list 1.
Contacts list Configure settings You can select how the contacts appear in your contacts list and view the amount of memory used or available in your phone. 1. At the start screen, select Contacts > Settings. 2. Select one of the following options: Scrolling view—To select how names and numbers stored in the contacts list are viewed. Select Name list, or Name and no. view. Memory status—View the amount of memory used in phone book.
5. Messages (Menu 1) If you have subscribed to a messaging service through your wireless provider, you can send and receive text messages to compatible phones that also subscribe to a compatible message service. You may also be able to send and receive picture messages and e-mail messages. Composed messages can be up to 160 characters in length as indicated by counter in upper right corner of screen. Using special (Unicode) characters takes up more space.
Messages (Menu 1) Options When you create or reply to a text message, depending on the mode of text input you are using and the features supported by your wireless service provider, some or all of the following options are available: Preview—Previews the inserted picture in message before sending. Press Back to return to the list of options. Send—Send the message to recipient. List recipients—Send the message to more than one recipient, or delete or edit the recipient list.
Templates Templates are short, prewritten messages that can be recalled and inserted into new text messages when you are short on time. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages > Create message > Text > Add number or Add e-mail. 2. Enter the recipient’s phone number; or e-mail address, or press Search to retrieve a number from your contacts list, and press OK. 3. Repeat step 2 to add more recipients, and press OK. 4. Select Options > Edit message > Options > Use template. 5.
Messages (Menu 1) Forward—Forward the message to another phone number. Rename—Edit the title of the message. Change sending options Note: Some or all of the following options may be available as determined by your carrier. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages > Message settings > Sending options. 2. Select the setting you wish to change: Priority—Set the priority of the note as Normal or Urgent. Delivery note—A note is sent to you confirming delivery of the message.
Enhanced messages Enhanced messaging is a Network Service. If your wireless service provider supports this feature, enhanced messaging functions in the same manner as text messaging, but it offers additional options for the style and content of the message. When creating an enhanced message, the following options are available: Add-ins—Select Sound, Animation, or Picture to add to the message. Styles—Select the Font type, Font size, or Text alignment of the message.
Messages (Menu 1) Write and send When a picture is added to a text message, the message converts to picture message. The message counter in the upper right of your display shows the characters available for you to type in. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages > Create message > Text > Edit message, and press Select. 2. Write a message using the keypad (or enter nothing if you choose to just send a picture), and press Options. 3. Select Insert picture. 4.
View a picture message When you receive a picture message, the message icon ( ) appears in the display. 1. Press Show to view the picture message, or press Exit to move it to your inbox. 2. If you have more than one picture message, scroll to the message of your choice, and press Select to view the message. When you have unopened picture messages in your inbox, upper left corner of the start screen as a reminder. is shown in the 3. Scroll to view the whole picture if necessary. 4.
Messages (Menu 1) Call and setup your voice mail 1. Once you have saved the voice mailbox number, press and hold 1. 2. When you connect to voice mail and the prerecorded greeting begins, follow the service’s automated instructions to setup your voice mail. Listen to your voice messages Once you have setup voice mail, you can dial the voice mailbox number in one of four ways: • Dial the number using the keypad. • Press and hold 1. • Press Listen if there is a notification message in the display.
Insert dialing codes Press * repeatedly to cycle through dialing codes. Once the desired code appears in the display, pause briefly and the code is inserted into the dialing string. The following dialing codes are available: *—Bypasses a set of instructions. + —International prefix. p—Pauses for 2.5 seconds before sending any numbers that follow. w—Waits for you to press the Talk key before sending the numbers or codes that follow. Setup voice mail with dialing codes 1.
Messages (Menu 1) ■ Message folders Save messages to folders You can save drafts of messages or received messages to an existing folder or to a folder that you have created. 1. Open the received message or create a new message, and press Options. 2. Select Save >Save message > Sent items, Archive, or a folder you have created on your own. • If you are saving messages from your inbox select Messages > Options > Save or Save message and select Sent items , Archive or Template.
■ Delete messages If your message memory is full, Message overwriting setting is off and you have more messages waiting at the network, No space for new messages appears on the start screen. You can do the following: • Read some of the unread messages, and delete them individually. • Delete messages from some of your folders. A single message To delete a single message, you need to open it first. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages. 2.
Call log (Menu 2) 6. Call log (Menu 2) Call log stores information about the last 20 missed, 20 received, and 20 dialed calls. It also adds the total duration of all calls. When the number of calls exceed the maximum, the most recent call replaces the oldest. Whether viewing missed, received, or dialed calls, the menu options are the same: Call time—Display the date and time of the call. Send message—Send a message to the number. View number—Display the number.
■ View received calls Received calls are calls that have been answered. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Call log > Received calls. 2. Scroll to a name or number, and press Options. 3. Scroll to an option, and press Select to view or activate the option. ■ View dialed numbers Dialed calls are previous numbers you have dialed from your phone: 1. At the start screen, press the Talk key. OR At the start screen, select Menu > Call log > Dialed numbers. 2. Scroll to a name or number, and press Options. 3.
Call log (Menu 2) ■ View duration of calls Note: The actual time invoiced for calls and services by your service provider may vary, depending on network features, rounding off for billing, taxes, and so forth. Last call 1. To view the duration of the last call, at the start screen, select Menu > Call log > Call timers > Duration of last call. 2. To activate the call timer on the start screen while in a call, select Details > Show call time on display > On or Off. Dialed calls 1.
Clear timers 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Call log > Call timers > Clear timers. 2. Enter your security code, and press OK. See Security code, 64 for more information. Note: All call timers, except the life timer, are reset to zero when Clear timers is selected. ■ View duration of data/fax calls Data/fax calls are a network service. See Network services, 6 for more information.
Call log (Menu 2) ■ View duration of minibrowser Minibrowser is a network service. See Network services, 6 for more information. If your wireless service provider supports this feature, you can view the size or duration of sent or received data from the minibrowser. Note: The actual time invoiced for calls and services by your service provider may vary, depending on network features, rounding off for billing, taxes, and so forth. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Call log > Minibrowser calls. 2.
7. Profiles (Menu 3) Profiles define how your phone reacts when you receive a call or message, how your keypad sounds when you press a key, and more. Ringing options, keypad tones, and other settings for each of the available profiles can be left at their default setting, or customized to suit your needs. The following profiles are available: Normal, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor, and Pager. Profiles are also available for enhancements such as a headset and car kit.
Profiles (Menu 3) ■ Set a timed profile Timed profiles can be used to prevent missed calls. For example, suppose you attend an event that requires your phone be set to Silent before the event starts, but you forget to return it to Normal until long after the event. A timed profile can prevent missed calls by returning your phone to the default profile at a time you specify. Note: Timed profiles can be set up to 24 hours in advance. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Profiles. 2.

Settings (Menu 4) Use this menu to change the time settings, call settings, phone settings, display settings, tone settings, enhancement settings, security settings, network, network services, and to restore the factory settings. ■ Call settings Location info sharing Location info sharing is only available for the Nokia 6015i phone. Location info sharing is a network service. See Network services, 6 for more information.
Settings (Menu 4) Anykey answer Anykey answer allows you to answer an incoming call by briefly pressing any key except the Power key, Right selection key, or End key. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Call settings > Anykey answer > On or Off. Automatic redial Occasionally, your network may experience heavy traffic, resulting in a fast busy signal when you dial.
On connection—Your phone asks for confirmation before connecting to the minibrowser. On exit—Your phone asks for confirmation before disconnecting from the minibrowser. Both—Your phone asks for confirmation before connecting or disconnecting from the minibrowser. Calling cards If you use a calling card for long distance calls, you can save the calling card numbers in your phone. Your phone can store up to four calling cards. Note: Contact your calling card company for more information. Save information 1.
Settings (Menu 4) Make calls After you have saved your calling card information in your phone, you can make a call using your calling card. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Call settings > Calling card. 2. Enter your security code, and press OK. See Security code, 64 for more information. 3. Scroll to the calling card of your choice, select Options > Select > OK. 4.

At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Call settings > Data/fax calls > Incoming data/fax call. 2. Select one of the following options: Normal—The phone receives incoming calls as usual. Data calls only—The phone receives only data calls. Fax calls only—The phone receives only fax calls. 3.
Settings (Menu 4) Automatic keyguard You can set the keypad of your phone to lock automatically after a preset time delay (from 10 seconds to 60 minutes). 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Phone settings > Automatic keyguard > On or Off. 2. If you selected On, Set delay appears in the display. 3. Enter the delay (in minutes and seconds), and press OK. When keyguard is on, it may be possible to dial the emergency number programmed into your phone.
Welcome note You can write a welcome note which briefly appears on the display screen whenever you switch your phone on. Note: Predictive text input is not available for entering welcome note text. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Phone settings > Welcome note. 2. Enter a note (up to 44 characters). Press * to display and select from available special characters. 3. When you are finished, select Options > Save.
Settings (Menu 4) ■ Time settings Time Show/hide the clock At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Time settings > Clock > Show clock or Hide clock. Set the time 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Time settings > Clock > Set the time. 2. Enter the time (in hh:mm format), and press OK. 3. Select am or pm (if 12-hour format is selected). Change the format At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Time settings > Clock > Time format > 24-hour or 12-hour.
Set the auto-update of date and time Auto-update is a network service. See Network services, 6 for more information. If your wireless service provider supports this feature, you can allow the digital network to set the clock, which is useful when you are out of your home area, for example, when you have traveled to another network or time zone. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Time settings > Auto-update of date & time > On, Confirm first, or Off.
Settings (Menu 4) Banner Banner is a network service. See Network services, 6 for more information. If your wireless service provider supports this feature, you can choose whether the display shows the operator logo when the phone is in the idle state. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Display settings > Banner > Default or Customize. Screen saver timeout If you have turned the screen saver on, the screen saver is activated when no function of the phone is used after a preset period of time.
■ Enhancement settings The enhancement settings menu is shown only if the phone is or has been connected to a compatible enhancement. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Enhancement settings > Headset, Handsfree, Loopset, TTY/TDD (carrier dependent), or Charger. Headset Scroll to the option of your choice, and press Select to enter the submenu and modify its settings.
Settings (Menu 4) TTY/TDD Note: This feature is carrier dependent. In addition to the Nokia phone, you will need the following for TTY/TDD communication: • A TTY/TDD device that is cellular ready or cellular compatible. • A cable for connecting the TTY/TDD to your Nokia phone, usually supplied by the manufacturer of the TTY/TDD device. Set up the TTY/TDD profile You can connect your phone directly to the TTY/TDD device.
Receive a call 1. Make sure the TTY/TDD device is connected to your phone. 2. Press the Talk key to answer the call, and type your responses on the TTY/TDD. 3. Press the End key to end the call. Charger Scroll to the option of your choice, and press Select to enter the submenu and modify its settings. Default profile—Choose the profile you wish to be automatically activated when your phone is connected to the charger.
Settings (Menu 4) Activate or deactivate phone lock The phone lock feature protects your phone from unauthorized outgoing calls or unauthorized access to information stored in the phone. When phone lock is activated, Phone locked is displayed each time you turn your phone on. When the phone is locked, calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your phone. 1. In the standby mode, select Menu > Settings > Security settings >Access codes > Phone lock. 2.
Lock code Note: Avoid using codes similar to emergency numbers such as 911 to prevent accidental dialling of the emergency number. The preset lock code is 1234. If you enter an incorrect lock code five times in a row, your phone will prompt you for the security code. Note: If you enter the wrong lock code 5 times in succession, you will not be able to enter a code for 5 minutes, even if you power off the phone between incorrect entries. 1.
Settings (Menu 4) Voice privacy Voice privacy is a network service. See Network services, 6 for more information. If your wireless service provider supports this feature, the voice privacy feature protects the privacy of your current phone conversation from other callers placing phone calls on your same network. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Security settings > Voice privacy > On or Off. ■ Network The menu options you see in your phone are based on your service provider’s network.
Mode You can choose whether your phone uses digital or analogue service. 1. In the standby mode, select Menu > Settings > Network > Mode. 2. Select on of the following service options: Digital pref.—The phone works in digital mode, but will also work in analogue mode when digital mode is unavailable. Digital only—The phone only works in digital mode. Analogue only—The phone only works in analogue mode. ■ Network services The following features are network services.
Settings (Menu 4) Activate Note: This is a network service. All options listed may not appear in the display. Contact your wireless provider for more information. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Network services > Call divert. 2. Select one of the following options: Divert all calls—Divert all calls to the number you specify. Divert if busy—Divert incoming calls when you are in a call. Divert if not answered—Divert incoming calls to another number if you are unable to answer.
Send own caller ID when calling If your wireless service provider supports this feature, you can prevent your number from appearing on the receiving party’s caller ID. At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Network services > Send my caller ID > Yes or No. Select your own phone number If your wireless service provider supports this feature, you can select the number to be used if you have more than one number.
Gallery (Menu 5) 9. Gallery (Menu 5) You can save photos and ringing tones to folders in the gallery, or create folders of your own and save them there. You can download images and tones using web sites or Nokia PC Suite. ■ Open the gallery At the start screen, select Menu > Gallery. The following submenus are displayed: View folders—Explore the folders in the gallery menu. See View folders in the following section for more info. Add folder—Add a folder of your own.
10. Games (Menu 6) Challenge yourself or a friend to one of the fun games in your phone. Note: Some menus listed are network services. Contact your wireless provider for more information. ■ Play a game 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Games > Select game. 2. Scroll to a game, and press Options >Open or the Talk key. 3. Select one of the following options (if supported by the particular game): New game—Launches a new game. High scores—View the high scores for this game (if previously played).
Voice (Menu 7) 11. Voice (Menu 7) ■ Voice dialing You can dial up to 25 stored numbers using voice dialing. Before using voice tags, note that: • Voice tags are not language dependent. They are dependent on the speaker’s voice. • You must say the name exactly as you said it when you recorded it. • Voice tags are sensitive to background noise. Record voice tags and use them in a quiet environment. • Very short names are not accepted. Use long names and avoid similar names for different numbers.
Dial a number At the start screen: 1. Press and hold Contacts. 2. When you hear several beeps and Speak now appears, release the key. 3. Pronounce the voice tag clearly into the microphone. When the phone finds the voice tag, Found: appears, and the phone automatically dials the number. If the phone does not locate a number or recognize the voice tag, No match found appears. Voice tags After you have associated a voice tag to a contact, you can choose one of the following options: Play back 1.
Voice (Menu 7) ■ Voice commands You can set as many as five voice commands, which allow hands-free operation of certain phone features. Assign a voice tag to a command Before using voice commands, you must first add a voice tag to the phone function. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Voice > Voice commands. 2. Select the phone function you wish to tag (Profiles, Voice mailbox, Voice recorder or Call log). 3.
■ Voice recorder This feature allows you to record pieces of speech or sound with your phone and listen to them later. The total available time is 30 seconds if no memos have been stored. The maximum length of a recording depends on how much memory remains available.The voice recorder cannot be used when a data call connection is active. Record speech or sound 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Voice > Voice recorder > Record. 2. After the recorder start tone is heard, begin recording speech or sound.
Minibrowser (Menu 8) 12. Minibrowser (Menu 8) Minibrowser is a network service. See Network services, 6 for more information. Your phone has a built-in browser you can use to connect to selected services on the mobile internet. If your wireless service provider supports this feature, then you can view weather reports, check news or flight times, view financial information, and much more. The web browser on your phone can display WAP-based content.
■ Navigate the mobile internet Since your phone screen is much smaller than a computer screen, mobile Internet content is displayed differently than you may be accustomed to seeing. This section contains guidelines for using phone keys to navigate a WAP site. Phone keys • To display the Minibrowser main menu, press the Power key. • To browse the WAP site, scroll up or down. • To select a highlighted item, press Select. • To enter letters and numbers, press a key from 0–9.
Organiser (Menu 9) 13. Organiser (Menu 9) Your phone contains features to help organize your everyday life, including an alarm clock, calendar, calculator, countdown timer, and stopwatch. ■ Alarm clock Set an alarm The alarm clock is based on the phone clock. It sounds an alert any time you specify and even works if the phone is turned off. 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Organizer > Alarm clock > Alarm time. 2. Enter the time for the alarm (in hh:mm) format, and press OK. 3.
Alarm conditions When the alarm sounds, your phone beeps, vibrates (if vibrating alert is on for the currently active profile), and the display lights up. With the phone on, press Stop to shut the alarm off, or press Snooze. The alarm stops for 10 minutes and Snooze on appears in the display. Note: If you do not press a key, the alarm stops (snoozes) for 10 minutes, then sounds again.
Organiser (Menu 9) Note a specific date You can choose from five types of notes: Meeting, Call, Birthday, Memo, and Reminder. Your phone asks for further information depending on which note you choose. You also have the option to set an alarm for any note that you select. 1. Go to the date for which you want to set a reminder. (See Go to a date, 78 in the previous section if you need more information.) 2. From the monthly view (with the go to date highlighted), select Options > Make a note. 3.
Options while viewing a list of notes 1. Press Options while viewing the notes for the day to display the following options: The options listed below are available while viewing a note. View—View the full note. Make a note—Create a new note for the selected date. Delete—Delete the note. Edit—Edit the note. Move—Move the note to another date on your calendar. Repeat—Enable the note to recur on a regular basis (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and yearly). Note: Repeat is not available for Birthday note.
Organiser (Menu 9) 6. If you selected Via text message, the note appears as a text message in the display. 7. Select Add number. 8. Enter the number for the recipient, or press Search to retrieve a number from the contacts list, and press OK. 9. Select Options > Send. Receive notes When you receive a calendar note in calendar-to-calendar (vCal) format, your phone displays Calendar note received. When you receive a calendar note as a text message, a message notification appears on the start screen.
4. Press Options (equals is highlighted) > Select. To perform a square or square root calculation, press Options > Square or Square root > Select. Currency converter You can convert foreign currency to domestic, or vice versa, directly from the start screen or from the Calculator menu. 1. At the start screen, enter a currency amount to convert, or select Menu > Organizer > Calculator and enter a currency amount to convert. 2. Press Options > In domestic or In foreign and press Select.
Organiser (Menu 9) ■ Countdown timer You can enter a specified time (up to 99 hours and 59 minutes). When the time runs out, your phone sounds an alarm. Note: The countdown timer only works when the phone is on. Once you turn off your phone, the timer is no longer active. Set the countdown timer 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Organizer > Countdown timer. 2. Enter the time (in hh:mm format), and press OK. 3. Enter a note for the timer, and press OK.
■ Stopwatch Your phone has a stopwatch that can be used to track time. The stopwatch displays time in hours, minutes, seconds and fractions of a second in hh:mm:ss:s format. Using the stopwatch or allowing it to run in the background when using other features increases the demand on the battery and reduces the battery life. Measure time 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Organizer > Stopwatch > Split timing. 2. Press Start to begin split timing. The running time is displayed on the screen. 3.
Organiser (Menu 9) The clock stops, then starts immediately from zero. The lap time appears below the running time. If you take more than one lap time, the new measured time appears at the beginning of the list. You can scroll to see previous measured times. When you press Stop, the total time appears at the top. Save the lap time 1. While the clock is running, select Stop > Options > Save. 2. Enter a name for the measurement, and press OK.
14. Applications (Menu 10) Applications is a network service. See Network services, 6 for more information. If your wireless service provider supports this feature, you will find useful applications pre-installed on your phone. Also, you can manage and download new applications that may be offered by your wireless provider. ■ Launch 1. At the start screen, select Menu > Applications > Select app. 2. Scroll to an application, and press Options, highlight Open, and press Select.
PC Connectivity 15. PC Connectivity With the PC Suite you can, for example, create and send text and picture messages, and synchronise contacts and calendar between your phone and a compatible PC. You may find more information for PC suite in the support area on the Nokia web site, www.nokia.com. Note: Some of the features available in PC Suite are carrier dependent.
16. Enhancements Check the model number of any charger before use with this device. This device is intended for use when supplied with power from ACP-7 or ACP-12. Additional safety information Consumer Update on Wireless Phones U.S. Food and Drug Administration 1. Do wireless phones pose a health hazard? The available scientific evidence does not show that any health problems are associated with using wireless phones. There is no proof, however, that wireless phones are absolutely safe. Wireless phones emit low levels of radiofrequency energy (RF) in the microwave range while being used. They also emit very low levels of RF when in the stand-by mode.
FDA belongs to an interagency working group of the federal agencies that have responsibility for different aspects of RF safety to ensure coordinated efforts at the federal level.
Additional safety information 4. What are the results of the research done already? The research done thus far has produced conflicting results, and many studies have suffered from flaws in their research methods. Animal experiments investigating the effects of radiofrequency energy (RF) exposures characteristic of wireless phones have yielded conflicting results that often cannot be repeated in other laboratories.
6. What is FDA doing to find out more about the possible health effects of wireless phone RF? Configurar su teléfono Cargar la batería 1. Enchufe el cargador en un tomacorriente CA estándar. 2. Conecte el cable del cargador al conector redondo ubicado en la base del teléfono. Al transcurrir unos segundos, el indicador de batería en la pantalla empieza a desplazarse desde abajo hacia arriba. Si la batería está totalmente descargada, podrían pasar unos minutos hasta que aparezca en la pantalla el indicador de carga o hasta que pueda hacer llamadas. ■ Apagar o encender su teléfono 1.
2. Coloque el auricular en su oído. Con el auricular colocado en su oído, podrá realizar, contestar y finalizar llamadas como de costumbre. • Use el teclado para ingresar números. • Pulse la tecla Hablar para hacer una llamada. • Pulse la tecla Finalizar para terminar una llamada. También puede conectar un auricular compatible en el conector del auricular de 2,5 mm ubicado en el costado del teléfono, para permitir el funcionamiento del manos libres. Cambiar la batería 1. Coloque la batería de tal manera que los indicadores positivos y negativos coincidan con los indicadores correspondientes del teléfono. Configurar su teléfono Usar el último número marcado 1. En la pantalla inicial, pulse la tecla Hablar para mostrar los últimos 20 números marcados. 2. Llamadas de conferencia Las llamadas de conferencia son un servicio de red que le permite participar en una conferencia con otros dos participantes. 1. Llame al primer participante. 2. Con el primer participante en línea, seleccione Opciones > Llamada nueva. 3.

Configurar su teléfono Opciones durante una llamada La mayoría de las opciones que puede usar durante una llamada son servicios de red. Ingreso de texto Puede usar dos métodos para ingresar texto y números: • El modo estándar es la única manera de ingresar texto en la lista de contactos y de renombrar grupos de llamantes. • El ingreso de texto predictivo es una forma fácil y rápida de escribir mensajes o crear una nota de agenda. ■ Modo estándar Texto (Abc) • Pulse Borrar para retroceder el cursor y eliminar un caracter. • Mantenga pulsada Borrar para retroceder y eliminar todos los caracteres.
Ingreso de texto Números (123) Para cambiar del modo Abc al modo 123, mantenga pulsada # en cualquier pantalla para el ingreso de texto hasta que el icono en la esquina superior izquierda de la pantalla cambie de Abc a 123 (o viceversa). Nota: En los modos de texto (Abc, abc, ABC y texto predictivo), también puede ingresar el número manteniendo pulsada la tecla numérica.
Ingreso de texto La ilustración a continuación muestra su pantalla cada vez que pulsa una tecla. Por ejemplo, para escribir Nokia con el texto predictivo activado y el diccionario Español elegido, pulse cada tecla una vez: 6 6 5 4 2 • Pulse 0 para ingresar un espacio y comience a escribir la próxima palabra. • Si la palabra que aparece no es correcta, pulse * para ver otras coincidencias. Para regresar a la palabra anterior en la lista de coincidencias, pulse Anterior.
Lista de contactos 4. Lista de contactos La lista de contactos puede guardar hasta 250 nombres (hasta 500 en el teléfono Nokia 6019i) con múltiples números y notas de texto para cada uno. La cantidad de números e ingresos de texto que puede guardar podría variar, dependiendo de su longitud y de la cantidad total de ingresos en la lista de contactos. ■ Buscar En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Contactos > Buscar. Pulse Seleccionar y destaque el contacto que desea ver.
Guardar varios números y elementos de texto Puede guardar distintos tipos de números de teléfono y elementos de textos cortos para cada nombre en la memoria del teléfono. El primer número que guarda para una entrada automáticamente pasa a ser el número predeterminado, pero siempre es posible cambiarlo. 1. En la pantalla inicial, pulse la Tecla direccional hacia abajo para ver una lista de entradas. Desplácese a la entrada a la que desea agregar un número de teléfono o elemento de texto. 2.
Lista de contactos Configurar un grupo 1. En la pantalla inicial, desplácese hacia abajo para mostrar una lista de entradas de su lista de contactos. 2. Desplácese hasta el nombre que desea agregar al grupo de llamantes y pulse Detalles. 3. Seleccione Opciones > Grupos llam. 4. Ver nombre: muestra el nombre del contacto. Eliminar: elimina toda la entrada de e-mail de su lista de contactos Editar dirección Web 1. Destaque la entrada de dirección Web que desea editar y pulse Opciones. 2. Seleccione la opción que desea realizar (Direc. Web, Dirección Postal o Nota) y pulse OK. ■ Eliminar entradas de la lista de contactos 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Contactos > Eliminar. 2. Lista de contactos Etiquetas voz: permite conectar, escuchar o modificar una etiqueta de voz para un contacto en la lista de contactos. Mi número: muestra su propio número de teléfono. ■ Enviar y recibir contactos (tarjetas de negocios) Puede enviar y recibir una entrada en su lista de contactos usando un mensaje de texto, si es admitido por su proveedor de servicios inalámbricos. Enviar una tarjeta de negocios Puede enviar una tarjeta de negocios como un mensaje de texto a un teléfono o dispositivo portátil compatible. 1. En la lista de contactos, destaque la entrada que desea enviar y seleccione Detalles > Opciones > Enviar tarjeta > Vía SMS > Nº predeterm. o Enviar detalles.
Mensajes (Menú 1) 5. Mensajes (Menú 1) Si se ha suscrito a un servicio de mensajes mediante su proveedor de servicios inalámbricos, podrá enviar y recibir mensajes de texto a teléfonos compatibles que también estén suscritos a un servicio de mensajes compatible. También puede enviar y recibir mensajes con imágenes y mensajes de e-mail. Los mensajes redactados pueden tener hasta 160 caracteres según lo indicado por el contador de la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla.
Vista previa: muestra en forma previa la imagen insertada en un mensaje antes de su envío. Pulse Atrás para volver a la lista de opciones. Enviar: envía el mensaje al destinatario. Lista destinat.: envía el mensaje a más de un destinatario o elimina o edita la lista de destinatarios. Configuraciones: definen la prioridad del mensaje. Guardar mens.: seleccione Elementos enviados para guardar el mensaje en la carpeta de elementos enviados.
Mensajes (Menú 1) Plantillas Las plantillas son mensajes cortos preconfigurados que se recuperan y se insertan rápidamente en los mensajes nuevos de texto. 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Mensajes > Mensajes texto > Crear mensaje > Texto > Agregar núm. or Agregar e-mail. 2. Ingrese el número de teléfono o dirección de e-mail del destinatario o pulse Buscar para obtener un número de la lista de contactos y luego pulse OK. 3. Repita el paso 2 para agregar más destinatarios y pulse OK. 4.
Guardar: guarda el mensaje en una carpeta. Desviar: desvía el mensaje a otro número de teléfono. Renombrar: edita el título del mensaje. Cambiar las opciones de envío Nota: Algunas o todas las opciones siguientes pueden estar disponibles según lo determine su operador. 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Mensajes > Mensajes texto > Configuraciones de mensajes > Opciones envío. 2. Seleccione la configuración que desea cambiar. Mensajes (Menú 1) Mensajes mejorados Mensajes mejorados es un Servicio de red. Si su proveedor de servicios inalámbricos admite esta característica, los mensajes mejorados funcionan del mismo modo que los mensajes de texto, pero ofrecen opciones adicionales para el estilo y contenido del mensaje. Mientras escribe un mensaje mejorado, están disponibles las siguientes opciones: Complementos: seleccione Sonido, Animación o Imagen para agregarlos al mensaje.
Escribir y enviar Cuando se agrega una imagen a un mensaje de texto, éste se convierte en un mensaje con imágenes. El contador de mensajes en la esquina superior derecha de su pantalla muestra los caracteres que puede escribir. 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Mensajes > Mensajes texto > Crear mensaje > Texto > Editar mensaje y pulse Seleccionar. 2. Escriba un mensaje con el teclado (o no ingrese nada si decide sólo enviar una imagen) y pulse Opciones. 3. Seleccione Insertar imagen. 4.
Mensajes (Menú 1) Ver previamente/Cambiar/Eliminar 1. Después de que inserta una imagen en su mensaje, pulse Opciones en la pantalla de edición de mensajes. 2. Elija una de las siguientes opciones. Vista previa: muestra en forma previa el mensaje insertado antes de su envío. Pulse Atrás para volver a la lista de opciones. Cambiar imagen: lo regresa a la lista de imágenes. Desplácese para destacar una nueva imagen, pulse Ver, luego Insertar para reemplazar la imagen anterior en su mensaje.
■ Mensajes de voz Si está suscrito al correo de voz, su proveedor de servicios inalámbricos le entregará el número de su correo de voz. Tendrá que guardar este número en su teléfono para usar el correo de voz. Cuando recibe un mensaje de voz, su teléfono le avisa con un tono, mostrando un mensaje, o ambos. Si recibe más de un mensaje, su teléfono muestra la cantidad de mensajes recibidos.
Mensajes (Menú 1) Automatizar el correo de voz Puede insertar caracteres especiales, denominados códigos de marcación, en los números de teléfono como el correo de voz y guardar el número en una ubicación de marcación rápida. Los códigos de marcación le indican al sistema receptor que se detenga, espere, ignore o acepte los números en la secuencia de marcación. Nota: Los servicios de correo de voz varían dependiendo del proveedor de servicios.
Configurar el correo de voz con los códigos de marcación 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Contactos > Marcación rápida. 2. Desplácese hasta una posición (vacía) de marcación rápida y pulse Asignar. 3. Ingrese su número de correo de voz, incluido el código de área. 4. Consulte los códigos de marcación e ingrese cualquier código, según sea necesario, usando la información que anotó de Anotar el número del correo de voz y continuar, pág. 41.

■ Eliminar mensajes Si la memoria para mensajes está llena, la configuración de Sobrescribir mensaje está desactivada y tiene más mensajes en espera en la red, Sin espacio: mensaje en espera aparece en la pantalla inicial. Puede realizar lo siguiente: • Leer algunos de los mensajes no leídos y luego eliminarlos uno a uno. • Eliminar mensajes en algunas de sus carpetas. Eliminar un solo mensaje Para eliminar un solo mensaje, deberá abrirlo primero. 1.
Registro (Menú 2) 6. Registro (Menú 2) El registro almacena información sobre las últimas 20 llamadas perdidas, 20 llamadas recibidas y 20 números marcados. También calcula la duración total de todas las llamadas. Cuando la cantidad de llamadas excede el máximo, la llamada más reciente reemplaza la más antigua. Las opciones de menú para las llamadas perdidas, recibidas o números marcados son las mismas: Hora de llamada: muestra la fecha y hora de la llamada. Enviar mensaje: envía un mensaje a un número.
■ Ver las llamadas recibidas Las llamadas recibidas son aquéllas que han sido contestadas. 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Registro > Llamadas recibidas. 2. Desplácese hasta el nombre o número y pulse Opciones. 3. Desplácese hasta una opción y pulse Seleccionar para ver o activar la opción. ■ Ver los números marcados Los números marcados son los números previos que ha marcado desde su teléfono: 1. En la pantalla inicial, pulse la tecla Hablar.
Registro (Menú 2) ■ Ver la duración de las llamadas Nota: El tiempo real facturado por su proveedor para las llamadas y servicios podría variar según los servicios de red, redondeo de la factura, impuestos y otros. Última llamada 1. Para ver la duración de la última llamada, en la pantalla inicial seleccione Menú > Registro > Duración llam. > Duración última llamada. 2.
Cronómetros a cero 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Registro > Durac. llam > Cronómetros a cero. 2. Ingrese su código de seguridad y pulse OK. 7. Perfiles (Menú 3) Los perfiles definen la manera en que su teléfono recibe las llamadas o mensajes, los sonidos del teclado al pulsar una tecla y más. Las opciones para timbres, los tonos del teclado y otras configuraciones para cada uno de los perfiles disponibles pueden permanecer como vienen predeterminados o puede personalizarlos para ajustarse a sus necesidades. Los siguientes perfiles están disponibles: Normal, Silencio, Reunión, Exterior y Pager.
Perfiles (Menú 3) ■ Configurar un perfil programado Los perfiles programados se pueden usar para no perder llamadas. Por ejemplo, suponga que está en un evento que le requiere configurar su teléfono en Silencio antes de que éste comience, pero olvidó configurarlo en Normal hasta mucho tiempo después del evento. Un perfil programado puede evitar las llamadas perdidas, volviendo al perfil predeterminado a la hora que especifique.
8. Configuraciones (Menú 4) Use este menú para cambiar las configuraciones de hora, llamadas, teléfono, pantalla, tonos, accesorios, seguridad, red y servicios de red y para restaurar las configuraciones de fábrica. ■ Configuraciones de llamadas Compartir info. de ubicación Compartir info. de ubicación sólo está disponible para el teléfono Nokia 6015i. Éste es un servicio de red. Consulte Servicios de red, 6 para obtener más información.
Configuraciones (Menú 4) Cualquier tecla contesta Cualquier tecla contesta le permite contestar una llamada entrante pulsando brevemente cualquier tecla excepto la tecla de encendido, selección derecha o Finalizar. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Config. llamadas > Cualquier tecla contesta > Activar o Desactivar. Remarcado automático Algunas veces, hay un alto volumen de llamadas en el tráfico celular, lo cual resulta en una señal rápida de ocupado al marcar.

Ingrese el nombre de la tarjeta y pulse OK. Realizar llamadas Luego de guardar la información de la tarjeta de llamada en su teléfono, podrá utilizarla para hacer llamadas. 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Config. llamadas > Tarj. de llamada. 2. Ingrese su código de seguridad y pulse OK.
3. En la pantalla inicial, utilice + para ingresar el número de teléfono al que desea llamar. (Por ejemplo, +3546789.) El teléfono marca el prefijo de marcación internacional que almacenó y el número de teléfono que ingresó. (Por ejemplo, el teléfono marca 0011354789.) Recibir datos o llamadas de fax Las llamadas de datos o fax es un servicio de red. Consulte Servicios de red, pág. 6 para obtener más información.
Configuraciones (Menú 4) Resumen de llamadas Su teléfono puede mostrar la duración de una llamada al finalizarla. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Config. llamadas > Resumen llamada > Activar o Desactivar. ■ Configuraciones de teléfono Idioma del teléfono 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Config. teléfono > Idioma del teléfono. 2. Desplácese hasta el idioma preferido y pulse Seleccionar.
Programar el tipo 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Config. teléfono > Tonos DTMF > Tonos DTMF manuales. 2. Elija una de las siguientes opciones: Continuos: el tono suena continuamente mientras mantiene pulsada la tecla. Fijos: se usan para enviar tonos según la duración especificada en la opción Duración de los tonos DTMF. Desactivados: se usan para apagar los tonos. No se envía ningún tono cuando se pulsa una tecla.
Configuraciones (Menú 4) Confirmar las acciones de servicio UIM (CDMA SIM) Esta opción le permite solicitar una notificación cuando el proveedor de servicios realice cambios en los servicios relacionados con UIM (CDMA SIM). Para obtener información acerca de la disponibilidad, tarifas y uso de servicios UIM (CDMA SIM), consulte con su proveedor de la tarjeta UIM (CDMA SIM), por ejemplo, el operador de red, proveedor de servicios u otro proveedor. Seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Config. llamadas > Conf.
Fecha Mostrar/ocultar la fecha En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Configuraciones de hora > Fecha > Mostrar fecha u Ocultar fecha. Configurar la fecha 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Configuraciones de hora > Fecha > Fijar fecha. 2. Ingrese la fecha y pulse OK. Cambiar el formato de fecha 1. Configuraciones (Menú 4) ■ Configuraciones de pantalla Imagen de fondo Puede programar su teléfono para que muestre una imagen de fondo en la pantalla inicial. 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Configuraciones de pantalla > Imagen de fondo > Selec. fondo. 2. Destaque la carpeta Gráficos y pulse Abrir. 3. Explore la carpeta. 4. Cuando llegue a la imagen que desea, seleccione Opciones > Como im. fondo.
Tiempo espera del protector de pantalla Si enciende el protector de pantalla, éste se activa cuando no se usa ninguna de las funciones del teléfono tras un período de tiempo configurado. Pulse cualquier tecla para desactivar el protector de pantalla. Puede configurar su teléfono para mostrar un protector de pantalla tras un lapso de tiempo elegido o programado (de hasta 60 minutos). 1.
Configuraciones (Menú 4) Auricular Desplácese hasta la opción deseada y pulse Seleccionar para ingresar al submenú y modificar sus configuraciones. Perfil predeterminado: elija el perfil que desea activar automáticamente al conectar un auricular. Respuesta automática: las llamadas se contestan automáticamente después de un timbre cuando el auricular está conectado. Seleccione Activar o Desactivar.
• Un cable de conexión entre su teléfono Nokia y el dispositivo TTY/TDD, suministrado normalmente por el fabricante del dispositivo TTY/TDD. Configurar el perfil TTY/TDD Puede conectar el teléfono directamente al dispositivo TTY/TDD. Para que su teléfono acepte el TTY/TDD, deberá configurar el perfil TTY/TDD. Importante:Ciertos fabricantes de dispositivos TTY/TDD sugieren que se mantenga por lo menos una distancia de 45 cm (18 pulgadas) entre el teléfono y el TTY/TDD.
Configuraciones (Menú 4) Cargador Desplácese hasta la opción deseada y pulse Seleccionar para ingresar al submenú y modificar sus configuraciones. Perfil predeterminado: elija el perfil que desea activar automáticamente al conectar su teléfono al cargador. Luces: elija si desea que el teléfono mantenga siempre las luces encendidas o que se apaguen automáticamente después de varios segundos. Seleccione Activado o Automático.
Cuando el teléfono está bloqueado, aún es posible realizar llamadas al número de emergencia programado en su teléfono. 1. En el modo standby, seleccione Menú > Configuraciones > Conf. seguridad >Códigos de acceso > Bloqueo de teléfono. 2. Ingrese el código de bloqueo y pulse OK. Consulte Código de bloqueo, pág. 67 para obtener más información. 3. Elija una de las siguientes opciones: • Activar: activa la función de bloqueo de teléfono después de encender el teléfono.

Organizador (Menú 9) Su teléfono cuenta con funciones para ayudar a organizar su vida diaria, incluyendo alarma, calendario, calculadora, temporizador y cronómetro. ■ Alarmas Configurar una alarma La alarma depende del reloj de su teléfono. Sonará una alerta a la hora programada y también funcionará cuando el teléfono esté apagado. 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Organizador > Alarmas > Hora de alarma. 2. Ingrese la hora para la alarma (en formato hh:mm) y pulse OK.
Condiciones de alarma Cuando suena la alarma, el teléfono emite un sonido, vibra (si la alarma vibratoria está activada para el perfil activo actualmente) y la pantalla se enciende. Cuando el teléfono esté encendido, pulse Parar para apagar la alarma o pulse Pausa. La alarma se interrumpe por 10 minutos y en la pantalla aparece Pausa activada. Nota: Si no pulsa ninguna tecla, la alarma se detiene (pausa) por 10 minutos, luego suena otra vez.
Organizador (Menú 9) Anotar una fecha específica Puede elegir entre cinco tipos de notas: Reunión, Llamada, Cumpleaños, Memo y Recordatorio. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Organizador > Temporizador. 2. Ingrese la hora (en formato hh:mm) y pulse OK. 3. Ingrese una nota para el temporizador y pulse OK.
■ Cronómetro Su teléfono cuenta con un cronómetro que se puede utilizar para medir el tiempo. El cronómetro muestra en formato hh:mm:ss:s horas, minutos, segundos y fracciones de un segundo. Si utiliza el cronómetro o permite que funcione en segundo plano cuando hay otras funciones activas, aumenta la demanda de energía de la batería y se reduce la duración de ésta. Medir el tiempo 1. Organizador (Menú 9) Medir las vueltas Podrá usar esta función cuando desee medir la cantidad de tiempo usada para completar una vuelta o ciclo. 1. En la pantalla inicial, seleccione Menú > Organizador > Cronómetro > Medic. vueltas > Iniciar. 2. Pulse Vuelta para tomar nota de la medición de vueltas. El reloj se detiene e inmediatamente comienza desde cero. La medición de vueltas aparece debajo del tiempo transcurrido. Si mide más de una vuelta, el tiempo medido actual aparece al principio de la lista.
