Making a call
Tip! To adjust the
volume during a call, press
to increase and to
decrease the volume level.
1 In standby mode key in the phone number, including the area code. Press or
to move the cursor. Press to remove a number.
• For international calls, press twice for the international prefix (the + character
replaces the international access code) and then key in the country code, the area
code without 0, and the phone number.
Note: Calls described here as international may in some cases be made
between regions of the same nation.
2 Press to call the number.
3 Press to end the call (or to cancel the call attempt).
Normal position: Hold the phone as you would hold any other telephone.
Note: Pressing will always end a call, even if another application is active and
displayed.

Making a call using the Contacts directory
1 To open the Contacts directory, go to Menu→ Contacts.
2 To find a contact, scroll to the desired name. Or, key in the first letters of the name.
The Search field opens automatically and matching contacts are listed.
3 Press to start the call.
If the contact has more than one phone number, scroll to the number and press
to start the call.
