4 – ME Memory Functions
The user interface of the phone is disabled (keypad cannot be used, display is
not updated and tones are not generated) when this selection is made. When
this menu is exited, user interface is enabled again.
When program should save values to ME memory in any selection, it asks for
confirmation. If <Y> key is used, values are saved to the memory. If <N> or
<Esc> key is used, the values are not saved to the memory. If any other key is
used, nothing happens.
4.1 – ME Short Code Memory
When this selection is activated, empty phone number and name table is dis-
played. Short code memory data is read only from phones internal memory (not
from SIM card). Before memory values are read, memory locking is removed
(MCU removes locking automatically) and it is not needed to return to previous
value after this selection. For instance the next window data is shown when val-
ues have been received from memory:
