NHP–4 PAMS Technical Documentation General Information Introduction NHP–4 is a CDMA mode handportable Cellular phone product for the North American CDMA system. NHP–4 offers digital mode full rate speech services defined in ANSI J–STD–008. The transceiver has a retractable antenna and a connector for accessories. The user communicates with the phone via LCD–display, keyboard and some audible tones.
