■ Locking the keypad
The keypad lock prevents keys from being pressed accidentally.
To lock or unlock the keypad: In standby mode, press Menu and then
quickly.
You can also set the phone to automatically turn on the keylock after a certain
period of time. Refer to Keyguard settings (Menu 4-5) on page 41. When the
keypad is locked, the indicator is shown on the display.
Note: When keypad is locked, calls may be possible to the emergency number
programmed into your phone (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number). Key in
the emergency number and press . The number is displayed only after you
have keyed in its last digit.
